flooring for factories, warehouses, storage facilities
Industrial warehousing, factories and storage facilities have very specific requirements for flooring, particularly with stringent health and safety legislation influencing decisions on types of flooring materials and finishes to best suit the needs of the business.
The general distinction of an industrial floor is that it must be able to withstand forklift trucks or movement of similar heavy machinery. Other typical requirements include flatness, chemical resistance, impact resisitance, slip resistance, fire resistance and demarkation of walkways and operating areas.
In additon to the supply and installation of safety and hard flooring materials and finishes, we can carry out repairs and maintenance of existing flooring, to include:
- repairs and levelling to damaged or uneven surfaces
- supply and installation of anything from an epoxy coating to self levelling systems
- specialist finishes for environments where there are specific hygiene requirements (eg. food processing)
- concrete repairs using resin based systems
- slip resistant coatings and finishes
